GLITCH

Glitch was rendered once, years ago, on a machine that was already struggling, and then everybody went home. The beach stayed. He stayed.

There is one palm. There is one flat blue rectangle where the sea is supposed to be. He has walked round both of them enough times to know they are the same one.

The ground gave up in one spot and there is nothing under it. He looks into it most mornings and then gets on with the day.

Every hour a few more pixels leave and do not come back. He has decided to treat this as a tan.

Nobody is coming to fix it. He took that off the list a long time ago.
